REQUIRED COMPETENCIES (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS)
- Experience in an office environment or providing customer service.
- Experience with Outlook, Word, Excel, and Publisher (Microsoft Office) and Adobe.
- Professional phone and email etiquette skills.
- Ability to take meeting minutes; proficiency in spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
- Ability to create and maintain spreadsheets in Excel: enter data with attention to detail and minimal errors.
- Working knowledge of office equipment e.g. printers, copiers, scanners and fax.
- Ability to prioritize tasks to meet multiple deadlines.
- Ability to work independently in the absence of supervisor.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Acceptance of the responsibility to promote the welfare and best interests of students at all times.
- A demonstrable understanding and acceptance of the mission, values, goals, objectives and strategic plan of CCS.
- The ability to perform assigned duties in a manner consistent with applicable laws, regulations and goals of the institution, and community and technical college system.

PREFERRED COMPETENCIES (DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS)
- An Associate degree or higher in Office Administration, Business Administration or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Two years of office or customer service experience requiring frequent written and verbal communication with staff and the public.
