Question Description
- For each of the descriptions below, develop an ER diagram using draw.io.Don’t forget to include entities, attributes (including attribute type), and relationships(including cardinality and modality).
- Hy-Vee Floral maintains an order information database. For each order, theyrecord the ID, date needed, whether the order is delivery or pick-up, and totalprice (based on the price of items ordered). Orders are placed by customers, andeach has an ID, full name (first, last), and payment information. Some customersdo not have payment information on file. A customer can have multiple orders,but may be entered into the system before placing any orders. Each orderbelongs to a single customer. Orders contain one or more items. An item belongsto one specific order. Within each order, individual items have a number (e.g.,“Item 1”, “Item 2”, …), but this is not unique across different orders. The databasealso tracks the type of each item (e.g., bouquet, boutonniere) and its price.
- Hy-Vee also records information about employees, including their ID, full name(first, last), and special skills (if applicable). Each order is assigned to a specificemployee for fulfillment. To ensure that work is distributed, each employee canhave at most 5 orders at a given time, but employees may be entered into thedatabase before they have been assigned any orders. Second, they want to track which poems are published in larger collections/anthologies. A poem may be published in multiple collections over time, but may also be published individually (not in a collection). Each collection in the database has at least one poem. For each collection, the database records unique ID, title, and the full name (first, last) of the editor(s).
