What effects at both macro level (e.g. public opinion, social policy) and micro level (e.g. individual schools, courses) has this had on nursing education? Has the net balance of positive and negative effects been beneficial for nursing education? Why?
• Debate the wisdom and feasibility of setting the master’s degree as the minimum marker for the professional segment of the nursing continuum.
